Harry here…I know I can be a bit confusing, obscure, convoluted, on and on.
After-all, English is my 4th language after Math, Humor & Trader slang…so cut the guy a break…isn’t that part of the allure anyway?
Making the crazy market, economy and high finance topics fun…
Here’s a list to keep the content going while helping you understand my quirks…
Feed the Ducks - "So there I was, sittin’ on a green candle, feelin’ good, when I hear the trader next to me yell, ‘FEED THE DUCKS! QUACK!’
….I’m like—what ducks? Where? Do I need bread?
Turns out, it’s trader code for sellin’ into strength. Y’know—like when the market’s beggin’ for your shares and you hand ‘em over with a wink and a limit order.
Just sprinkle those offers out there like breadcrumbs, let the buyers gobble ‘em up. Quack, quack, baby. Gotta feed ‘em while they’re hungry and boy those ducks get Hungry."
“On the Clock” - the system has a price/momentum/trend component that compliments the Volatility signals. Both solidify a signal change. Sometimes I can see the Algo Math early that a signal change is potentially near. It will usually take 1 - 5 days to confirm and go from On the clock to a signal change.
thats why I denote those as "On the Clock”.
On the clock can used for a signal shifting from Long to Flat, I usually put those in Red. It also goes the same for a Flat to a Long Signal Flip.…I put them in bright green when the potential is to go from Flat to Long.
Yes, to answer your next question “On the Clock” can simply disappear based on price or vol action and go back to nothing…
Shark line moves: price goes outside the daily bands…trades for a bit…sucks buyers in on a big up day, or sellers in on a deep down day….
—> then reverses and comes back inside the daily limit. Can be a great indication potential of a strong reversal day to be used to your advantage. I affectionately refer to these Shark line moves as Suckouts…TA speak bull or bear traps…and on and on…
More to Come as needed…
